    Hello

I have been gathering information as new threads come in.

Seems the issues with reaching the tame limit even though you lot are well below the tame limit is due to unclaimed dinos in or effectually Coordinates fifty, fifty. This is due to eggs getting teleported to that location when dinos are laying them. Its causing mass unclaimed dinos to continue breeding and laying eggs.

This is being looked at and investigated for what the cause of it is.

Some ways others have fixed information technology is past raising the maturity rate so dinos take longer to grow. This is causing them to die off before them are able to fully grow.

Some have stopped convenance all together until the issue is fixed.

You tin can also turn make the egg hatching take longer and so you lot are able to become to 50,50 and recover the egg or eggs before they hatch.

If you become to the surface area and there are more unclaimed dinos than you tin can handle you should be able to admin kill them using AdminCheat GCM this will give you lot creative style and allow you to utilize the rifle to destroy them all.

If anyone has other methods that have worked delight feel free to add to the thread.

Massbreeds are best fixed this style:

    cheat gmsummon "argent_character_bp_c" 1

    Unclaim the argentavis

Look at the argentavis then type:

    Crook destroytribedinos

Alll unclaimed dinos will be destroyed. No need to manually kill the massbreeding dinos or having to be anywhere near them. Trust me, we have handled quite a few massbreeding situations in our cluster.

Afterwards you did cheat destroytribedinos, go to the location and fix the breeding problem (original convenance pair that started the massbreed) and if said dino mates and lays eggs. Yous need to manually selection up all the eggs from the massbreed.

Happy to aid, not just do eggs go teleported there, as well babys from dinos that don't lay eggs. For case: daeodons, thylas etc.

We've been quit busy with this since we have discovered this problems a few hours after the update. I'll post some more than findings hither to assistance you guys out:

fix 1: temporarily increase the mating intervals.

Decreases the rate of progress with massbreeding by a lot, this makes it easier to manage it.

fix two: Build a wall effectually fifty/l and spawn agressive dinos in at that place like raptors or rexes.

When eggs are hatching or babies spawn in they will get killed past the wild dinos. Preventing massbreeds. Warning: Wild dinos will despawn after a sure amount of time, make sure you refresh the despawned wild dinos.

Set three: Locate all dinos that are offline breeding and end them from doing so.

Set up iv: increase the dino hunger.

This will cause babies to die before they fully grow upward, notwithstanding, this is highly dependent on your server settings. And you might be temporarily unable to raise gigas.

I would highly recommend to temporarily increase the mating intervals, since our cluster did this set it drastically decreased our issues.

Any more ideas on this? I've tried all these suggestions.

What settings are you using to combat this?

I'grand new to using admin controls on ARK and can't get nigh of the commands to work, I tried going to fifty/50 and using KillAOE with no joy.

Likewise, changing the setting for me either brand no difference or make the server crash quicker.

Outset time I've had a Nitrado server and this isn't really filling me with conviction, running an ARMA server was less hassle than this. ^^

The setting thats important for this issue is the mating multiplier. For our cluster its temporarily set on 0.08. This makes dinos mate every iii hours (average), this volition basically slow downwards mating plenty to do a daily visit at 50/50 and wipe out all the troublemakers.

Make sure y'all restart the server after you've changed the setting, this will actuate the new setting.

I was nether the impression that lower the number the more they breed? Mine is set to ane as default.

But wondering if there is any update on this? Really would similar to play without the rigmarole.

    • #8

Same, I have tried the above suggestions merely still getting crashes, it used to be when there were three or four players on simply at present its crashing with only 1 player online

    • #9

Seems the fixes and routine clear out aren't working at all for me anymore.

    • #10

So I basically ended upwards having to a practice a total purge with the destroywilddinos command

    • #xi

Many of us run that command daily. Its a skillful mode to clear out the overspawns that may occur on a map.

    • #12

Contempo patch seems to have fixed the fifty-50 breeding trouble.

    • #13

Correction. On the server where we put breeding settings back to normal was a massbreed of dodos at fifty l. It is not stock-still still.

  • Rondeau04

Changed the title of the thread from "Unclaimed dinos / mass breeding issues all platforms" to "Unclaimed dinos / Tamed Dino Limit /mass breeding issues all platforms".

Could I mayhap suggest Nitrado to invest in developing an selection to shut downward offline breeding? This problem has been around for a long time and will permanently solve future problems with mass breeding.

As a player and possessor of a cluster I don't run across any reason why people would like to offline breed dinos. This gives server owners the choice wether they want to allow it or not.

Since you guys accept been amazing and have listened to my advices before, I figured to put this pick hither also.

Is there a fix for this coming yet. Server is showing max amount of tamed dino's message. Actual tame limit is at 230/chiliad

tried to teleport to 50/l but information technology keeps crashing.

    Map - Rag

    • #xvi

I'1000 getting the same max dino cap on Rag equally well, for an xbox server. Can't tame merely can pop out cryopods without an issue. Gets all wiggy and crashes when yous get to l,50. No mass amount of dinos can be seen, just a bit of rubber banding then crash. Take 5 other maps clustered with the same server settings but Rag is the only map having this upshot.

So far I turned down mature speed and rolled back to a previous save that was before a crash fault popped upward. However can't tame. No clue when it started for certain.

    • #17

    Got an update.

Unclaimed a dino an did the "destroytribedinos" command and can tame again. Leaving the mature rate down to help ring-aid fix the issue for now but the map is more playable at the moment.

Main matter I've seen is that they are teleporting babies under the mesh at l,fifty then you can't encounter it but the game tries to load information technology all in and results in a server crash.

Aye the unclaimed dino tribedinowipe really is godsend. Can destroy massbreeding without having to be at that place. Still waiting for a reply about my terminal proffer.

    • #xix

Yes the unclaimed dino tribedinowipe really is godsend. Can destroy massbreeding without having to be at that place. Still waiting for a reply well-nigh my last proposition.

I can ask if that is an option to shut down offline breeding.

    • #xx

Yes the unclaimed dino tribedinowipe actually is godsend. Tin can destroy massbreeding without having to be there. Nonetheless waiting for a reply nearly my terminal suggestion.

I tin inquire if that is an choice to shut down offline breeding.

please please do. Information technology's a small change that would permanently fix all our electric current and future problems
